Red Light Therapy

+ What is red light therapy?

Red light therapy is a safe, effective treatment for harmful inflammation. While inflammation is a part of the body’s natural immune response, prolonged inflammation from an injury, environmental factors, or chronic diseases like arthritis can cause permanent damage to the body.

+ What can I expect during my session?

You should arrive 10 minutes early if you have not already filled out your new client waiver and contact form. You will be escorted to your private treatment room and a recovery specialist will orientate you to the room, how to turn on the light/timer and our recommended eyewear. You may fully disrobe during your session so as to have the maximum skin exposure to the therapeutic light waves. When your session is complete the lights will turn off and it will be time to get dressed and return to the front desk in order to reserve your next session.

+ What are the benefits of red light therapy?

Red Light Therapy (RLT) helps reduce inflammation throughout the body by stimulating the body’s natural healing processes to remedy inflammation and repair damage. RLT is proven to:

Increase collagen production, improving skin elasticity and appearance

Relieve muscle soreness and minor joint pain

Regulate the synthesis of free radicals and reduce the effects of oxidative stress.

Promotes whole body wellness by enhancing the body’s natural processes for healing.

This therapy is safe, easy, and most individuals experience no adverse side effects.

+ How often should I receive treatment?

For best results we recommend that for the first two weeks you receive a session every other day (3 sessions per week). This will renourish your body and allow for change to occur. Next, it is best to receive 2 sessions per week until your goals are achieved Finally, we recommend you continue a maintenance schedule of 1-2 times per week.

Infrared Sauna

+ How do I prepare for my sauna session?

You will have your own private room. We recommend wearing as little as possible – whatever you are comfortable with. Several towels will be provided. Listen to some relaxing music or a podcast, watch Netflix, meditate or do nothing at all. You can bring a friend or sweat solo.

+ How long does a session take?

All sessions are between 30 and 60 minutes

+ How does an infrared sauna work?

Infrared therapy is a light-based method to treat inflammation in various parts of the body. Infrared light uses certain wavelengths to promote cell repair and reduce inflammation in sites of acute or chronic pain. The key characteristic of infrared light is its ability to penetrate even the deep layers of the skin, providing better pain relief.

+ What are the benefits of infrared sauna?

Infrared light is safe, natural, non-invasive, and painless. Thus it can provide a broad range of health benefits such as detoxification, pain relief, improved circulation, boosting of the immune system and lowering of blood pressure. Infrared saunas leave you feeling invigorated, not depleted like conventional saunas.

+ How often do I need treatment?

There is no one answer for the number of sessions per week, but infrared saunas are safe to use every day. In fact, you will see wellness improvements sooner if you use it more frequently. On average, most people partake in 30-45 minutes session, 3-4 times a week.

Compression

+ How does compression therapy work?

NormaTec Recovery System helps maximize recovery for both athletes and non-athletes. Using sequential pulse technology, NormaTec synergistically combines three distinct massage techniques to speed the body’s normal recovery process: pulsing compression, gradients, and distal release. Through these three mechanisms, the compression system maximizes circulation throughout the body to help you feel better, train harder and recover faster.

+ How long does a session take?

A compression treatment session is 30 minutes

+ Who is NormaTec compression right for?

NormaTec Compression Therapy is most well-known among athletes for its superior rehabilitation capacity leading to a fast recovery and improved performance. But that doesn’t mean it’s only for athletes. Anyone who deals with poor circulation or who is standing on their feet all day at work can benefit from NormaTec Compression Therapy. Construction workers, nurses, and doctors who are on their feet most of the day often have poor circulation and can deal with chronic pain as a result. People with diabetes, varicose veins, and other poor circulation conditions can also develop pain in their muscles. Compression therapy offers a solution for improving circulation and providing pain relief

+ How often do I need treatment?

Compression therapy could be used prior to or after a routine workout, sports training or high-level competition. It could be used on a daily basis, but at 1-2 times/week is beneficial for enhancing recovery. It is also great to do after a long day of sitting, standing or walking to improve circulation.

PEMF Therapy

+ What can I expect during my session?

You will have a private room for treatment and will be given an explanation of the treatment specific to your needs. A typical session should be relaxing and restorative, gentle and soothing with small muscle contractions, noticeable pulsing and stimulation in certain areas, and movement of the pulsing action as it stimulates different regions of the body. There may be areas of sensitivity depending on treatment intensity and past injuries or trauma.

+ How long does a session take?

Your PEMF treatment will last approximately 30-45 minutes, possibly longer depending on the individual circumstances. The first part of the treatment is to lay down on a full body mat for ten minutes where a natural magnetic field, within the earth’s biological window (1Hz to 10 Hz) is pulsed through your body (Hz = cycles per second). Most people feel a slight tingling or warmth due to increased circulation. The second part of the PEMF session will look at providing a more localized application of the magnetic field to specific areas of the body that may be experiencing difficulty.

+ How often do I need treatment?

Treatment frequency can be every other day, every two days or once a week. It depends on the specific circumstances of each individual. We’ve had success treating people with a day in between treatments. People typically notice something after 3 to 6 treatments and therefore get a sense of the general direction the therapy is heading towards. Again, this can be very individual.

+ Why do I need treatment at a cellular level?

Magnetic fields also affect the charge of the cell membrane, which allows membrane channels to open up. These channels are like the doors and windows of a house. By opening cell channels, nutrients are better able to enter the cell, and waste is more easily eliminated from the cell. This helps to rebalance and restore optimum cell function. If you restore enough cells, they will all work more efficiently. Cells of the same type come together to make tissues, and those tissues come together to make organs. So, by restoring or maintaining cellular function, you will, in turn, restore or maintain organ function, allowing the entire body to function better. We all know that the body ages over time. Maintaining the function of every individual cell at an optimal level every day is an important part of slowing again.

+ Why Pulse Centers PEMF?

Here at Cryo Method, we use the Best PEMF system in the world, the Pulse Centers XL Pro. The XL PRO is the only Cellular Exercise system in the world to combine solid-state engineering, integrated electronics, “user-controlled” adjustable pulse and magnetic field strength, with up to 10Hz of pulsing power, stronger than any Cellular Exercise equipment on the market. This allows us the ability to customize the settings to each individual client’s need

+ Contraindications of PEMF?

PEMF may not be right for you if you have an internal electronic device that cannot be removed, such as pacemakers, cochlear implants, defibrillators, spinal stimulators, etc. Are actively bleeding or hemorrhaging, or during heavy menstruation. PEMFs have not been proven safe for pregnant women, so we do not recommend it. Additionally, PEMF is not recommended for people with organ transplant on immunosuppression.

Cryo Sculpting

+ What can I expect during my session?

You will have a private room for treatment and will be given an explanation of the treatment specific to your needs. A typical session should be relaxing and restorative, gentle and soothing.

You will only need to expose the affected area. It will feel chilly and maybe a little uncomfortable, but nothing too extreme! There is no downtime or recover needed after the session.

+ How long does a session take?

Your initial appointment will be approximately 30 minutes with subsequent visits ranging from 10-20 minutes depending on the area we are targeting.

+ How often do I need treatment?

A minimum of 6 sessions are required for effective results and up to 12 depending on treatment area and individual goals. Most effective outcome requires treatment be carried out 5-7 days apart. Further top-off treatments may be required for long-term effective managment.

+ Side effects or risks of cryo sculpting?

Treatments may not be fully successful. Each person's body reacts differently to the cold stimulus and some may require more time and consistency.
